Dr. Ituma

Afam Icha-Ituma is a Reader in Management Studies at Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo (FUNAI). He received his BSc from ESUT (Nigeria), MBA from University of Leicester (UK), PhD and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning from Brunel University from Brunel University (UK). He is the Interim Dean, Faculty of Education, FUNAI. He has also held a number of Senior Management positions at FUNAI including as pioneer Director of Academic Planning (2012-2015) and pioneer Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Employability (CEE). Prior to joining FUNAI, he held a number of academic positions in the UK, including Lecturer at Brunel University, Academic Consultant at Mountbatten Institute and Senior Lecturer at Bournemouth University. He has been a Visiting Research Fellow at Kingston Business School (UK), the University of Leiden (Netherlands), University of Lisbon (Portugal) and the University of London (UK). He has also served as external examiner at University of Manchester, University of Northumbria, University of Wales and Pan-Atlantic University (Lagos Business School). He is a Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and Member British Academy of Management. He regularly presents his work nationally and internationally. He is the current Managing Editor of FUNAL Journal of Humanities and Management Studies and regularly reviews for a number of Thomson Reuters ranked journals.
